Lecture series "Optics" on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

March 26, 2021

The aim of the Germany-wide optics lecture series is to bring students from the field of optics closer to the spectrum of photonics. This is made possible by a wide variety of online lectures.

The lectures are carried out on a voluntary basis by various institute and industry representatives (see below). The lecture language is usually English. If possible, the lecture materials will be distributed before the respective lecture.

The lecture itself is aimed primarily at master students, but particularly interested students in the higher bachelor’s semester or doctoral candidates are invited to participate in order to expand their spectrum in photonics.

The lectures take place on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. It is not possible to record the lecture.

In order to be able to take part in the online lecture, you need to register. To do this, please send an email to Andreas.Heinrich@hs-aalen.de. Provide the following information in the email: First name, surname, semester of bachelor's or master's degree or doctorate and institution where you are studying or doing your doctorate. Credit points for participation in the lecture must be agreed with your own university or college. All participants of the lecture will be sent a certificate at the end of the lecture. The prerequisite for this is participation in at least 80% of the lectures.

Please send further questions or comments to Andreas Heinrich (Andreas.Heinrich@hs-aalen.de)

The Lecture Series Optics is supported by the networks Bayern Photonics, Photonics BW and the German Society for Applied Optics.
